Battlefield V, EA’s take on an Early Access game | Video Game Review

Battlefield V, is not a game 10/10, not even an 8 or a 9.

Battlefield V

On the one hand, the announcer and all the user interface design feels and looks like Star Wars: Battlefront, which is very funny. Did they hire / reuse the same voice actor and music composer / producer? I swear if you put them next to each other, they sound exactly the same.

Content -

Personally I LOVE the way EA / DICE is making us pay $ 60 for the lost gameplay they promised, Battle Royale (which we will get "hahaha" next year) and many missing features.

You can not customize your character in the game / server, groups / squads do not exist, custom servers are not one thing and many more functions are missing. What is this? An early access game on Steam? Why do we lack the main characteristics that the Battlefield series always had? Demons, including the battlefield 1.

Weapons -

Weapons simply feel "soft" against enemies. You need a complete magazine to kill someone. If you use a sniper and shoot them directly into the chest, it will not kill anyone. Sometimes, even a shot in the head does not kill a player instantly.

Health -

The idea of health in this game is simply stupid. Why are there health packages in players? The central idea of Battlefield is to be team oriented. No, not this battlefield. You have health packages like Call of Duty now only to replenish your health whenever you want. There is no need for teammates to go Medic for health or even for ammunition.

Others -

Can I also mention that DICE censors the "curse words" in the text chat of the game? We classify the game "M" and we can not call bad words to our own horrible team because it can harm them. So I can not say: "Get to the fucking point!" He will censor it to "get to the point *******!" One of the best inventions of DICE, a complete website for the games of Battlefield, Battlelog. Unfortunately, another year without Battlelog (Battlefield 1 did not have either). Why? I (the community) want detailed statistics, nobody wants that partner of website or mobile application. It's lack brightness.

Do you want to play this game? Play on the 'Hardcore' servers created by the community. Official servers with DICE's own sets of rules are garbage.

(Custom servers  not been added yet)

Battlefield 4 is better and more balanced, Battlefield V is aimed at more "informal" players. EA / DICE wants the Call of Duty fan base to be too much, rather than simply expanding what Battlefield is and what they created from the start. You are not missing much if you do not play or do not buy this. If you really want it, expect a sale. It will probably be like $ 30 for next year as Battlefield 1.

I bought all the Battlefield games, I played each one (from Xbox 360, Xbox One and PC) and I have to say one thing. Personally, I would have liked to have Battlefield: Bad Company 3 this year or would have preferred to take Battlefield Hardline 2, instead, we have Battlefield V. It could be such a fun game, but at the same time it is such a disappointing game.
